York Regional Police said the thugs stole property from the home on Milky Way Dr. last Thursday at 8:45 p.m., before fleeing in a dark-coloured vehicle.

No one was injured.
Police say they’re looking for three suspects — all male with light complexions — who wore dark clothing.
Fraud and firearm charges
A probe into suspected irregularities in archaeological reports prompted OPP officers to charge a 60-year-old Aurora man with fraud and firearms offences.
Officers started their investigation in February 2024 after the OPP received information about a suspected fraud related to archaeological surveys submitted to the Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism.
Police alleged the archaeological reports — related to land development and construction projects — misrepresented the level of archaeological assessment performed, leading to inflated costs totalling approximately $350,000.

The firearm charges are not connected to the archaeological reports, according to police.Â
T. Keith Powers faces charges of fraud over $5,000, unsafe storage of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Oshawa stabbing
A 21-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in Oshawa early Friday.
Durham Regional Police say officers found a victim with a stab wound when they responded to a 1:10 a.m. call at a residence in the Olive Ave.-Albert St. area.
Emergency personnel rushed the victim, who will survive, to a hospital for treatment while a suspect was arrested at the scene.
Patrick Lummiss, of Oshawa, faces charges including assault cause bodily harm.
