A 50-year-old Toronto woman is facing assault charges following an attack on The Danforth earlier this month.

Toronto Police said officers responded to a radio call for an assault on Tuesday at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the Greenwood and Danforth Aves. area.

Police received a report that a female and two males approached the victim on the street and physically assaulted him.
According to police, the female appeared to be armed with an improvised blunt weapon and used it to strike the victim. The victim managed to run away from the pair and a bystander called police.
When officers arrived at the scene, police said two male suspects were located and arrested. However, the female fled the area.
The victim was transported to hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries, cops added.
Investigators subsequently identified a female suspect and arrested her on Friday.
Police said Zuleika Fedrick is charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
The two men, Peter Blake, 35, of no fixed address, and Michael Ayue Beny, 44, of Toronto, were each charged earlier with assault causing bodily harm.

CLOTHING, ELECTRONICS AND BANK CARD STOLEN
A 33-year-old Toronto man is wanted for allegedly stealing clothing, electronics and a bank card from two Toronto residences last month.
Toronto Police said officers responded to a call for a theft on Dec. 13 at approximately 11:15 p.m. in the Broadview and Danforth Aves. area.
Police allege the suspect and victim were at the victim’s residence the day before. After the suspect left, the victim noticed numerous items of clothing were missing.
It is also alleged, on Dec. 20, the suspect was at another victim’s residence in the Lower Sherbourne St. and The Esplanade area. When the suspect left the residence, cops said the victim noticed clothing, electronics and a bank card missing.
On Saturday, police said Riley Rose is wanted for two counts theft over $5,000.
The man is described as 5-foot-4 with a thin build, clean cut, brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators released an image of the suspect.

MAN IN 60S STABBED, SENT TO HOSPITAL
A man in his 60s was stabbed in Toronto’s Playter Estates area Saturday afternoon.
In a social media post, Toronto Police said a stabbing was reported shortly after 4 p.m. in the Danforth and Broadview Aves. area.
Officers dispatched to the scene located a man in his 60s with a stab wound, police said. He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5-foot-11, about 30 to 35 years old and wearing a blue-hooded sweater.

MAN ARRESTED FOR GREEKTOWN VAN THEFT
A 51-year-old Mississauga man under two release orders has been arrested months after a delivery van was stolen in Greektown.
Toronto Police said the victim called to report the theft of a white cargo van on Oct. 4, 2025, at approximately 9 a.m. while out making a delivery in the Danforth and Jones Aves. area.

According to police, the victim parked his vehicle to complete a delivery and the suspect stole the victim’s vehicle.
The suspect fled from cops while operating the vehicle in a reckless manner a short time later, police said. Officers eventually located the vehicle abandoned.
Police said the suspect, Farshad Bagheri, was arrested Friday and charged with motor vehicle theft, failing to stop for police during a pursuit, dangerous operation, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
ELDERLY WOMAN DIES AFTER HIT BY VEHICLE
An elderly woman has died of her injuries after police said she was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross a Whitby street Friday afternoon.
Durham Regional Police said in a Saturday afternoon post on social media that the 82-year-old woman was attempting to cross at Brock St. N. and Mary St. W. at approximately 1:15 p.m. when she was struck by the driver of a vehicle.
She was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in life-threatening condition, but later died of her injuries, cops said.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
