And just like that, Kim Cattrall and Russell Thomas are officially married.

The longtime couple tied the knot on Thursday in an intimate, secret ceremony in London’s Chelsea Old Town Hall, People magazine reported.

The Canadian Sex and the City star, 69, and the audio engineer, 55, who have been together for nearly a decade, wed in front of 12 of their nearest and dearest.

Cattrall wore a sophisticated Dior suit, Cornelia James gloves, and a bespoke Philip Treacy fascinator, styled by Sex and the City costume designer and the actress’ longtime creative collaborator Patricia Field, according to the outlet.

Thomas kept it understated in a custom suit by Richard James.

How the couple met

Cattrall and Thomas first met in 2016 at the BBC, where he worked, when she appeared on an episode of Woman’s Hour.

They kept in touch and he eventually visited the actress in Vancouver.

“It was very brave of him because we didn’t really know each other other than having a few meals together. But he came and we got along great,” Cattrall told People in 2020.

“And we’ve been together ever since!”

She added: “He’s a firecracker and he’s got a wicked sense of humour. And he’s easy on the eyes!”

Earlier this year, Cattrall told the U.K. Times that throughout their relationship, they’ve “had such a blast.”

“He’s had an incredibly interesting life and really done it on his terms,” she said at the time, reminiscent of her SATC character, Samantha Jones. “He’s a bit of a rebel, which I love.”

Cattrall’s romantic history

This marks Cattrall’s fourth marriage.

Her first marriage, from 1977 to 1979, to Larry Davis was annulled.

She and Andre J. Lyson wed in 1982 but divorced in 1989.

Cattrall’s third marriage, to audio equipment designer Mark Levinson, last six years, from 1998 to 2004.

During that time, the couple co-wrote the book Satisfaction: The Art of the Female Orgasm.

Cattrall also briefly dated former Canadian prime minister Pierre Trudeau and has been linked to actor Daniel Benzali and musician Gerald Casale.
