Last year, my six-year-old son Callum started saying his legs

Last year, my six-year-old son Callum started saying his legs hurt so much that he couldn’t walk or run. One day, he came home from school looking very pale, so we rushed him to the hospital.

In just a few hours, the doctors told us that Callum had acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. This was especially hard for me because I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 2008 after finding a lump on my collar bone.

I’m now in remission. Callum still has a long road ahead of him, with treatment that will last about three years, but he’s such a brave little boy and has the same positive attitude as I do! Right now, Callum is going through strong chemotherapy and is doing well.

Thank you to everyone for supporting us, and thank you to Lisa for sharing her and Callum’s story this Mother’s Day.
