Singer will perform in his cozy concert series before playing Hamilton with brothers

Nick Jonas is ready to light up Toronto’s brunch scene this weekend.

The actor-singer is bringing his Sunday Best Brunch to Yorkville’s newest hot spot Powder Room, which, according to the venue from the team at Liberty Entertainment Group, creates an atmosphere that is both “intimate and cinematic.”

So, essentially it makes the perfect backdrop for live performances, whether it’s Toronto’s top local talent or an A-list star who has performed on some of the biggest stages around the world including Rogers Centre.
The brunch stop comes nearly two weeks after 33-year-old Jonas — husband of actress Priyanka Chopra, announced his first solo album in nearly five years, coincidentally titled Sunday Best.
The album doesn’t come out until Feb. 6, but Jonas is ready to give fans a taste, with tickets on sale now on his website.

“It’s been incredible getting to play Gut Punch for you all these past couple of shows,” he wrote on social media along with video of the performance.
“Sunday Best brunch round two is hitting Toronto on 12.14.”

Jonas first launched the cozy concert series on Nov. 30 at Nellie’s Southern Kitchen in Las Vegas.
“I couldn’t be happier to introduce Sunday Best Brunch,” he shared on Instagram.
“I’ve been working on new music that I’m really proud of, and I wanted to find a special way to share the first piece of it with you.”
He added: “This is just the beginning of Sunday Best and there will be many more moments to come for us to celebrate together. See you in Vegas.”

Jonas was last in Toronto in August, when the Jonas Brothers performed at Rogers Centre as part of their JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour.
Following brunch in Toronto, later that same day he will rejoin his brothers Joe and Kevin in Hamilton at TD Coliseum, then head to Ottawa on Dec. 15 and hit Montreal on Dec. 17, before wrapping up the tour in Brooklyn on Dec. 22.
