Nick Reiner is reportedly on suicide watch inside a correctional facility where he is being held on suspicion of murder in the slayings of his parents, director-actor Rob Reiner and Michele.

Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ reported on Monday night that their accused killer son is on suicide watch and in administrative segregation at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in L.A., where he is being held without bail.

Earlier, the outlet reported that Rob Reiner and his son were were involved in a “very loud argument” at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas Party just one night before the Los Angeles slayings.
The legendary director-actor and his wife were found Sunday with their throats slit inside their L.A.-area home.
Nick was arrested Monday morning on murder charges.
Citing sources, TMZ reported that the argument at comedian O’Brien’s holiday bash was loud enough for others to hear and that Rob and Michele left the party seemingly because of the public feud.

Sources also told the outlet that Nick looked out of place, having shown up at the formal party wearing a hoodie while others wore suits and dresses.
Family had expressed concerns about son: Report
Sources told TMZ that Michele had recently been expressing concerns to friends, saying she and her husband were at their wits’ end over Nick’s apparent mental illness and alleged substance abuse issues.
They confided with close pals that “we’ve tried everything,” TMZ reported, citing sources.
Nick, a 32-year-old screenwriter whose battles with substance abuse have been well-documented, was being held on $4 million bail at Parker Center Jail in downtown L.A., the New York Post’s Page Six reported. However, TMZ later reported that he is now being held without bail.

People magazine had previously reported that Nick was being questioned regarding the deaths.
Per TMZ sources, the couple’s bodies had lacerations consistent with stab wounds and their throats were allegedly slit by a family member during a heated argument.
Daughter found slain parents
One of their daughters — Romy — reportedly found the bodies of Rob Reiner, 78, and Michele, 68, and told cops that a family member had killed them.
On Sunday, Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the city’s Brentwood neigbourhood, west of Beverly Hills, at about 3:30 p.m. and found the couple dead inside the home.
A spokesperson confirmed the deaths of the Oscar-nominated director and his wife in a statement to multiple media outlets.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
Rob Reiner’s eldest daughter, Tracy Reiner, whom he adopted from his marriage to ex Penny Marshall, spoke out following news of their deaths.
‘Greatest family ever’
“I came from the greatest family ever,” she told NBC. “I don’t know what to say. I’m in shock.”
Without naming the couple, Los Angeles police officials said a “death investigation” is underway.
Reiner was nominated for an Oscar in 1993 for A Few Good Men. Other film credits include This is Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, and Misery.
He is the son of comedy legend Carl Reiner.
Nick Reiner co-wrote the film Being Charlie, which his father directed. The semi-autobiographical 2016 film tells the story of a rebellious, drug-addicted teen whose father is an actor-turned-politician. The film was loosely based on Nick’s personal journey with addiction and homelessness.
